# Permissions

## Permissions

| Permission        | Default | Intended For     | Description                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ----------------- | ------- | ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `cozyranks.use`   | `true`  | Players          | Allows use of `/ranks` and `/rank`.                                                                                                                                         |
| `cozyranks.admin` | `op`    | Staff and admins | Allows use of `/ranksadmin`, `/cozyadmin`, and `/cozyranksadmin`, including admin inspect, reload, set, reset, info, list, refund, sync, migrate, and fixdeposits commands. |

### Recommended Setup

Players:

* `cozyranks.use`

Staff:

* `cozyranks.admin`, only for trusted staff who should inspect or manage ranks.

Admins:

* `cozyranks.admin`

### Notes

* The current source defines two permission nodes: `cozyranks.use` and `cozyranks.admin`.
* The current source does not define wildcard permissions such as `cozyranks.*`.
* Rank reward permissions are configured per rank in `ranks.yml`; they are rewards granted by rank progression, not CozyRanks command permissions.
